Long considered the benchmark for all yacht builders, Grand Banks is most well known for their classic trawler designs. Most models were produced for over 20 years. Their trawlers are well sought after for their timeless designs and attention to detail. Most of these semi displacement hulls were paired with the most efficient diesel engines of their times for long range cruising. However more powerful engine option were available to purchases that wanted more speed. In the 1990s the Eastbay models began their production, with the sweeping design of downeast cruisers. Most able to cruise comfortable in the low 20 knot range with the option of an open express style cockpit, sedan style hardtop, or for larger cruisers a Flybridge option. A Grand Banks offers two main categories Long Range Trawler or Cruising Downeast yachts.
